New to the fishing scene, and wondering if someone could please direct us to good bank fishing site. I will be with my 8 year old daughter. This would be her second time fishing, the very first was last weekend at OBX.

Any help will be appreciated.

Lake Townsend in GSO has a pier to stand on, but for 10 bucks you can rent a jon boat and head out on the lake. Makes for a fun outing with out a lot of money.

Tanglewood in Clemmons has a couple spots to fish, plus plenty of other things to do if she gets bored! Village Point Lake behind Morgan Elementary is about a mile away from there and has good pier fishing for small catfish and bream too.

Kernersville Lake Park has free fishing, very nice place for families. I take my family out there alot
