Bass on fire

We have been catching more bass lately than trout. Everywhere we have fished the bass seem to be hungry.

I have had the opposite experience, but I live no where near any trout. ;)

Sound like maybe your fishing too close to the bank??
My reply was in reference to just this past weekend. Even last week there were some hungry fish to be caught, although not in the numbers of 2 to 3 weeks ago. This weekend I fished in a variety of water; near shore, over the channels, high and low in the water column. Just haven't located the fish since the water chilled to near 50. A few weeks ago we were finding double digits and decent size in bass; in the last week to 10 days I think we've moved a little further along into the winter season than areas down East probably have just yet.
Water temp. 50 and fish caught next to shore where shore has steep dropoff 4 ft.
