Fished Ledge Rock area of Falls this morning from 8am-noon. Nothing. I saw lots of surface activity, possibly white perch or white bass and saw a NICE largemouth come sailing out of the water ~8:30am. I caught zero LM Bass, and couldn't even get the surface schools to cooperate. Oh well, beautiful morning on the Lake. Talked to a guy at the launch and he said he hadn't caught anything on Falls "in weeks". I take this to mean that the bass haven't shaken off the heat yet, and will be in a feeding frenzy in a week or two

I have had the same luck. We have done OK with Catfish and a few Perch in the AM, but cannot get a bass to bite. Good luck.

well, hearing that makes me feel a lot better. I haven't caught anything at all in close to a month out there. I hate to hear of such tough luck but at least its not all mine. Keep us informed when you do start catching and I'll do the same. It shouldn't be too long now.
