Me and the kid got the canoe out this afternoon. We got launched around 3:30pm. We were using the trolling technique learned from JoeTrain and PondPounder (see thread called Canoe Questions). We were trolling two rods, and each was set-up with a three-way swivel, and each had a crankbait on the longer (~4') leader, and a 3" paddletail rigged weedless on a Texas-eye jig head on the shorter (~1') leader. Right away, we got a white bass on a Rapala SR05 Perch. Was a little too windy and choppy, so we headed back in around 4:30pm. Trolling back in, we got a very nice bass. The bass hit the paddletail (3" "baby bass" zman).

Yeah buddy the 3 way rig strikes again. Nice bass too. Lately I have been running the crank on the short leader.

Send me a pm and I can give you some info on Beaverdam. I have fished it a ton.
