Seems I have found the honey hole in Greenville for big bass. I am pretty good friends with the Park Ranger here in the city and he recently told me about a place off of 264 before you reach B's Bar-B-Que Rd. (side road off the highway with a metal gate blocking the entrance when heading east.) The state recently stocked the pond(s) with bass and crappie, and the ranger has shown me pictures of multiple 7lb+ bass pulled out of the pond on the regular.

The only problem with the pond is that it is privately owned by the state and they won't allow anyone to fish back there (kick people out daily). From what I was told the state or the city has had the plans to turn the place into a park but never had the funds to do so. So now there is pond stocked with huge bass that isn't even fish-able. All I gotta say is C'MON MAN!
