Looking to hit a pier in the next couple of weeks and just plug for spanish and blues. I havent got to do that in a long time. Anybody have any recommendations for a good pier in the cape fear area or southport area? Do the bigger ones show up later in the month?

thanks in advance.

Thanks guys. I saw the Seaview report as well and that looked crazy. The storm will probably screw it up for a week or so though correct? Maybe by next weekend do you think it will clear up and bring them back in?

Post-front northerly winds will have nearshore spots cleaned up in a few tide cycles. Does not take forever to clean itself from storms, unless you get a massive amount of rain, like 10 inches or more. A stong West or SW wind will keep it dirtier for longer, keeping sediment in the bay.
