I was checking out these replacement skegs over the weekend and it just seems to make sense to add them as a protector before any damage can be done to the skeg. Does anyone have one on their engine? Or have any experience with them?

I have looked at those Blackfins and thought about a skeg plate. Hve not used one yet though. I run a lot of shallow water 2-3 foot at full throttle a lot, but I know the water.
