Blewett Falls Lake is west of Rockingham N.C. on the Pee dee river. Us north of Hwy 74 and has two ramp access areas.
The north access is on Mountain creek. To reach it from Hwy 74 turn north off Hwy 74 on the East side of the river bridge on to NC-1140 (old Charlotte Hwy), then go left on Blewett Falls Rd, then right on Fordhill Rd, Then left on Hollyhill Church Rd, and then left onto Grassy Island Rd. This area has only one ramp and a small parking lot. You are not putting in at the lake so you would have to find you way west into the lake, but there is some realy good fishing hear. be sure to have a map of the area as the Grassi island area is very confusing.
The south ramp area is reached from the west side of the river bridge. Turn north onto Power Plant Rd, then left on BlewettFalls Rd, then right on Buck Rock Rd, and then right onto Boat Landing Rd. This access area hase three ramps tow of the ramps are realy one very wide ramp. There is a large parking area, vary nice.
Be causes on this lake as there are a lot of stumps and floating logs. There are some power boats hear but they keep to the open center of the lake.
