I took my boat out in Boiling Springs Lake today...great weather. This is the first time I have ever fished there. I put in at the Alton Lennon boat ramp. It was a nice ramp and well maintained. Just looking for some advice about the lake. Does anyone have any tips about locations, etc. I fished near the dam today. Plenty of fish on the fish finder...but I guess they were being picky. Has anyone had better luck there?

I used to live there it is full of fish . As the dam was repaired around 03/04 the lake was draimed and Re stocked . There are no really old fish . The fishery does have alot of 5lb class fish . Big cranks and top water work well there . Worms tend to get picked up alot from the large panfish . Some of the creeks and sub merged points fish well certian times of the year
