Day two, or should I say night two, started a lot like day one. Air temps were 46 F, water temp…mid-50’s??…maybe colder. Arrived at 1930 hrs and started throwing hard plastic to begin with. Landed the first 20” striper at 1953 hrs. Switched over to a Zoom Smokin Shad on a chartreuse 1/8 oz head. From 2028 to 2106 hrs I landed another five schoolies all right around 19-21”. Bite slacked off and at 2200 was done. Final tally was six fat stripers, a couple of spit hooks but this trip, no misses…they either hit hard and were landed then returned to fight again or they spit the hook. Another good night…now I just need to find the specks!!
