OK first off I'm a total newb. I've watched videos and grasp most of wha needs too be done. I want to build my father a Vietnam vet rod. So I'm thinking just the Vietnam vet flag maybe the pow flag. Next question my father loves to jig for white perch. He uses a 1/2 oz spoon always. He also crappie fishes. But mostly white perch. I need help picking out a blank. I need too stay under budget hopefully around 50$.
