Busy week of bass fishing!

What a week!

I started last Saturday with a tournament in GA with my daughter, Tiarra. She wanted to fish with her Daddy in a tournament again and I obliged, of course. After all, what dad can turn down a daughter's request to fish!

We were in the Kicks 99 Country bass tournament on Clark Hill Reservoir outside of Augusta, Ga.

It was a beautiful day and we caught a bunch of bass, just no mommies. Tiarra contributed as well...

We finished in the top third out of 220 boats and I was pretty happy considering I hadn't fished on Clark Hill for about 8 years before the tournament day!

I returned to Concord, only to leave again for Jordan Lake to participate in the Warriors On the Water tourney.

This, by far, is one of the tournaments I look forward to each year. Being able to take a soldier out on the water to enjoy some fishing for a day.

I fished with SFC Johnny Evans and had a great time. He did, too, and learned what the "oh crap" handles are for pretty quick!

We walked the stage with a bass and his smile was worth it all.

After three days at Jordan, it was time to come home and on Sunday, I fished with my most favorite partner, Kelli!

We went to Badin Lake for the afternoon and had a great time catching more bass.

We started on some docks with Vertical Lures Tube-X baits and picked up a few. Then went out to get some schoolers and had a blast.

Caught about 12 in three hours or so but the best of it was being with my favs again. It is good to be home!

Some of the fish I caught...

Kelli even got in the action so she could show off her new "rock"!

Now, I'm ready for the next tourney in a couple weeks on Norman! All refreshed and can't wait...this one is with Kelli!

That looks like an awesome few days of Bassin', and you gotta love when the ladies are willing to share some time on the water. I hope to compete in the Warriors event next year with my good friend Brandon, we couldn't make it happen this time.

I forgot to add that the bass on Clark Hill were all caught on Super Flukes, the Jordan Lake bass were caught on Super Flukes and Vertical Lures Tube-X and the Badin bass were caught on Tube-X and jerk baits. I hope that helps!
Good days Wes!!

I did pretty much the same thing, was on Kerr Lake last Friday and Saturday for the BFL. Left work early Wednesday for the WOW Icebreaker, prefished Thursday and WOW on Friday. Saturday and Sunday I went back to Jordan. Saturday I went to a spot I almost went to Friday and caught a 5 lber and lost one over 7, plus a few more solid fish.
