After fishing in Horrific weather the other day and losing a big bass... I tried to redeem myself on a cool brisk day and was rewarded with dinner...I'll take it.....
Nice! I caught one there trolling a twisty tail grub earlier this month. The lake is loaded with channel cats. Lovin' the mean green fishin' machine, BTW. I am another SIK puppy...
I've caught a couple of cat fish on flies, but never on any other artificial, but some of my friends have told me that they have. Thanks for all the pics.
Now I've seen everything! I have caught cat's by slowly dragging a plastic worm with artificial stink bait stuck to it's side on a carolina rig but never have I seen one taken on a spinner bait. Those cats in that lake must be starving!!
