Was out on Lookout for 4 days of fishing. We had great weather and two good days of fishing. Sat-Sun we got a mixed bag catching blues, Spanish, sea mullet, small flounder, a few slot drums, and a couple of big hits we never got to see the fish NC of straightened hooks. Mon-Tues the wind shifted and the fishing died. Only got the occasional sea mullet and one stray 10" Cobia to send days.
Most fish were caught on cut mullet on fish finder rigs. Some sea mullet were caught on shrimp. I had good luck with a bucktail rig and Gulp teaser for blues, Spanish, and a small flounder.
Overall it was a good trip and no one wanted to get on the ferry.

I honestly don't know.
Sorry, I was thinking seasonal in regard to the bite with different wind direction if it's different between warmer season and colder season. Thinking wind from the south during colder season would not turn off the bite but more likely on because warmer air?

Probably just over thinking it but good to know at least from your recent experience. Thanks
