The Jon Boat Club fished at Lake Cammack today. This was the first time since the new limit was put on the lake.

The limit is 2 over 14" per person. I think you can keep 10 under 14", though. With our 5 fish limit, that meant each boat had to bring in one UNDER 14" to the scales!!!!

That put a new twist to culling. You had to cull up your dinks and keepers. What is tough is to throw back a keeper all the while knowing it is bigger than the one you got in the livewell.

Cammack is full of fish!!!! Fish were caught all day. Fish were caught on everything you could imagine, deep or shallow. Only bad part was they were mostly small. It is a fun lake for sheer numbers of bites.

Winners had 14-8, second 12 pounds, big fish was 6-4

Only pic of the day. Not that it was a good one, but it hit a jig in 21 foot of water beside a bridge piling.
Not sure why it was not dinner for a big ole bass? (or a catfish )???

Sounds like fun, at least for getting the feel of a bite and a pull. Thanks for the report!
