Put in the launch off Highway 42 today for the third time in a week. As soon as I got on the water I saw topwater activity. Turns out to be schools of largemouth bass attacking schools of baitfish. This continued from 10:30 until I left at 12:30. I caught fish on jerk baits and wacky worms thrown into the activity.

It sounds like you hit it just right. Way to go! You gotta give those rivers credit. They do produce. Not usually that good though!
