I've got my calendar fairly well arranged to attend Cape Fear Kayaks' tourney in Wrightsville next Saturday, March 24. Anybody interested in either meeting up for a convoy from the Triangle, or sharing a ride, etc?
If you've never tried your hand at a kayak tourney, this is a great low-pressure event. There's no crowded blastoff, no pressure to sprint to the best spots, you don't need sponsor regalia... Just a friendly bunch of folks, a cool store, and a good-sized handful of prizes.
