So took a full day trip on the Carolina Princess out of Morehead City. This is a really class act business and the crew takes good care of its passengers. Today’s catch included amberjack, mahi, triggers, porgies, grunts, grouper, and vermillion snapper. Really rough ride going out about 25 miles, but eased up for fishing and the return trip. It was a lot of fun, and everbody caught something. This was my haul…

Looks like a nice day out, Chris. I've been thinking about a bottom trip here lately myself. Last time out we pulled in so many beeliners that it became somewhat monotonous. Great eating, just wish there were a little bigger! Good report, thanks for sharing!

Dr. Steve——their schedule is on their website. Some trips are half day, and others are full days. Travel time to the fishing grounds is about 2 hours 15 minutes. Do the full day if you can…you will get about 6 hours of actual fishing. The mates—Mike and Kenny—will work real hard for you, and Captain Terry will take you to 8 or 10 different spots, depending on the bite.
