Has anyone ever fished and/or had success at Landsford State Park on the Catawba? I would be interested in fishing for bass and bream. Also, would it be beneficial to take a kayak and paddle up stream to float down and fish? I'm looking into doing this Sunday. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

I like to fish a white fluke for bass and curley tail jig with a small spinner for bream. If you can float down to the highway 9 landing.
