Go to that lake macintosh near you, you can fish almost anywhere and catch them. I like fishing around the bridges and in the back of coves or around where where creeks come into ect. They will eat everything. ive caught them on Buzzbaits, rubber worms, crank baits, Bee Jay dough bait, Cut bait (shad, croker) Night crawlers, Chicken livers, my favorite is to use raw medium sized shrimp from the grocery store on a med sized thick circular bait hook. I put a weight just heavy enough to keep the line tight on the bottom about a foot above the hook. Cast it in the channel, reel you line tight and hold on to the rod because as soon as you sit it down it will go swimming haha. If you come down to Fayetteville I have a channel cat honey hole
