I just posted about our lack of success catching shad. Thankfully, we do have much better success catching catfish.

I'm looking for eel for bait, especially since I can't seem to catch shad for bait. I live in the Greenville/Kinston area. Anyone know of anywhere I can get eel? If you're thinking Neuse Sport Shop, I was in there three weeks ago. They were out and apparently frustrated by the fact they can't get any. I touched base with a contact in Hyde County, but no luck there. Anybody know of a bait shop that stocks eel? Thanks.

There used to be an eel farm in Comfort. Quit going that way on a regular basis so I don't know if it's still there.
