Took the family out in the afternoon on Christmas day and had a rough start with the wind pushing us around. Decided to hit one last spot before calling it quits and happened upon a school of stripers thrashing the heck out of some baitfish. Moved in on them and was hooked up on the first cast with a keeper.. Wife was having some trouble getting them to hit, but when she did she hooked up on a nice 26" fish and it took her for a ride as that was her biggest fish ever. She caught another good size fish that we had to put back, I got a few more to put in the box and we left them biting as our little one woke up from his nap and it was time for dinner.. All caught on a white XR8, but not sure it would have made a difference what we threw at them. Was our best hour of fishing this year hands down and we went home with just short of a limit... What a way to end Christmas day!
