I took my Jet Ski out in the Atlantic on Sunday and trolled the Ocean front off of Virginia Beach for a couple of hours, still plenty of bait around but nobody is catching any inshore Striped Bass, my self included.
It was an awesome days for the wild life though, Humpback Whales, Seals and birds all over. Flat seas and a sunny day, unlike today windy and some snow coming down.
Ends up my friend Rob and his wife Mary were on a whale watching trip, they saw my jet ski in the distance and called me. I took some pictures of them and the tour boat. Perfect timing for me as a pair of Humpback Whales came up right beside the boat.

The whales also came right up to and under this boat that was out doing research.

This Humpback put on quite a show for me.

It breached several times, I barely got a picture.

I wish this one was clear but you get the idea.

Still plenty of Seals around the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.

Surf Scoters were every where.

I call this one "The Fisherman's Hall of Fame" Looking through the Piles of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
