Hi Fellow Anglers

After serving my country in the US Army and being deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom, I have decided to return to NC. I along with my sons and brothers are starting a fishing Team. We are new to tournament fishing and are looking foward to getting our feet wet, so to speak. I used to be a tackle salesman at the old Sports Unlimited out on I-70 and Im still pretty well versed on tackle and techniques. Im an Ammo Specialist in the Army and I can hold my own when it comes to guns and shooting. Im also looking foward to meeting other fellow anglers in NC and the surrounding states.

Anthony,

Welcome back and thank you so much for your service to our nation.

We will be expecting big things (no pun intended) from the PSB Fishing Team!

Welcome home. I returned 28aug06 from Iraq myself and bought a boat as a welcome home reward. I would be interested in learning more about your club. I have an 18ft Sea Fox center console. Not a true bass boat but so far it has served its purpose well. I am working on learning the ropes for saltwater. Maybe we could hook up and trade water.

Topsail Angler (Mike) would be a good resource to help you on the question of Tourney stuff (especially NC local).. and I guess it depends on what kind of tourney fishin, I'm assuming King Mac.. but there's an awful lot of tourneys to be had for sure (like the upcoming Big Rock Marlin Tourney).

If on "big money" tourney like the Big Rock, I can put you in touch with a friend Wayne that fishes the Obsession and the Sea Striker out of Manteo, They're always in the tourney and I believe placed 3rd last year, I'm sure he'd be happy to answer some questions you'd have.

Local tourney stuff, I'd think Mike could point you in the right direction... doesnt hurt to PM him.

Most importantly, WELCOME HOME!

Welcome home, Anthony. I appreciate your service to our country! My son is over in Iraq now.

You looking to saltwater tourney fish? If so, I'd be glad to help out with some suggestions or any other way I can.

Have you decided on boat yet?

[What to fish for?] Everywhere and everything. :D
Ha ha -- just had this vision of taking Dave's Wellcraft up to Nantahala's trout streams! That'd be something to see, a craft to cover ya from Murphy all the way to Manteo.

(Although, actually, I've got a particular idea in mind...)

Welcome home, and thanks for serving!
