A little over a year ago I was given a GoPro camera and have been racking up some fishing footage. Due to a underpowered computer I had no way of doing anything w/ the footage other then grabbing screenshots. I finally upgraded to the computer I wanted w/ a decent editing program and have been messing around making little video clips. Here are my 1st 2 attempts at relearning Final Cut Pro. One of the great things about editing is it makes you think about the video your capturing more and 2 things I really need to do is grab different angles and focus more on getting video of my friends when I'm out with them. I hope you enjoy and feel free to give any feedback. Pretty much all this footage was shot around Swansboro in the various creeks and marsh.

1st attempt at making a video clip from a trip I had last week:

2nd video clip using random footage from 2013:

Pretty cool, where is your go pro mounted? Need to get it up higher so I can see the background where you are catching all those fish :D

What is your video editor?

Nice work. I like that 28" you caught on your other video. The fist-in-the-air celebration at the end is a feeling we've all had. I knew exactly how you felt.

Haha. I have (had) an adhesive backed mount that I placed next to the front rod holder. A lot of the video came from that. I also have a mount attached to my net and that's where all the video came from in the 1st clip.

I got an iMac and the video editing program I am using id Final Cut Pro. About 6-10 years ago I played around a lot making surf videos until the computer I had then ran out of juice. It's been fun trying to relearn the program and get back into editing.
