I'm gonna be around New Bern next week with the kids any advice on a creek to fish for a variety. They like throwing beetle spins and crappie cranks for what ever bites? I know nothing about the area was looking for a good creek to try.. No secret spots just general info tks.

Swift Creek you can launch at Cool Spring Rd Ramp.

Your not goin to have a lot of luck with artificials unless the water warms up a good bit imo. Today water temp where I was was 39 to 43. Also just a reminder. If someone gives info via PM please keep it private. Theres a reason for PM.
