Decent Saturday

Knowing Saturday was going to be a beautiful day (albeit post front), invited the brother-in-law to go with me to a private lake in Hoke Co. Did fairly well with a mixed bag of bass, crappie and a feisty warmouth. Earl got the biggie of the day at about 5 lbs. Speedcraws and Berkley worms is what the bass wanted. Water surface temp was 74-75.

What color speed craw do you like and how do you work it?
Nice bass!! Looks like a good day of fishing
Green pumpkin on 3.0 EWG. Weightless.
Speedcraw??? What in the name of Bill Dance is that??? lol! Good job, Peanut. Bass are spawning now, so old time purists like myself are giving them a break. But crappie? No reprieve for them. Got some good uns today and some good white perch at HPCL.

The little Ultravibe speedcraw can be worked about anyway you want. Texas, Carolina rigged, shakyhead, weightless, you name it. It's my top bass catching plastic bait. Green pumpkin is the best color.

Chiming in because after reading countless posts here about your speed craws, I decided to try them for myself on a Yadkin float and was rewarded with a nice smallie. Split shot rigged and green pumpkin. I'm a believer now!

I'll be passing over HPCL Friday on my way to Bristol. Will the white perch bite a Rapala slung out the window at 65? Congrats on a successful day.
I think we can all thank Jerry for his speedcraw remedy....First time using one I was without a fish with 3 hours left in a tournament and ended up finishing 10th and lost 3 that would have made me top 5...all because of the speed craw.

lol. No, thank good old Zoom bait company. It's the little recurved, flat pincers that kick up such a fuss is the reason bass can't resist them. They've caught me lots of bass, both largemouth and smallies. Got a pic of a four+ smallie my son got on a green pumpkin speedcraw at the New.
Lest we forget, it's the little Ultravibe speedcraw, not the bigger Super speedcraw.
