Got out to the river and waded down stream , water viz about 1.5 ft. Was mostly out to test my new korker stud boots. They worked pretty dang good.
Hoping to get out Saturday again and really put some time in.
Being I live in town and never really fished it hard, I hope to
this year. Now the question is... what to throw..

Is the deep pretty wadeable? I like the eno but the deep river looks good too.
I haven't been on much of it.
Driving by and past it, it looks very doable in lots of miles of it. I'm sure there are some good deep holes around.
The section here in town when it hasn't rained and is at the lowest flow, most is knee/ thigh deep.
Reading past posts, Sounds very wadeable.

I've fished that stretch several times. A couple spots that are deep but very wadeable. The rocks are slick and the bottom very uneven so go slow and be careful. I usually throw a Rebel Wee Craw and catch a ton of sunfish and several bass. I have caught one bass over 19" out of that stretch and even hooked a gar.

Hahaha I've been away for to long! That stretch of river is just AWESOME. If it looks like a crawfish they will smash it. I might actually go take a look down their tommorow.
