Dave, I'm headed to Cedar Island next Thursday from Greensboro. ... any suggestions of where to pick up some big mullet on the ride down? Looks like you are unfortunately across the river from my route down Hwy 70. I'd come by water but that would be quite a haul in my 13' Whaler

One my sons, my daughter and I had the pleasure of fishing several hours yesterday with Capt. Dave. It was a beautiful day on the water and we saw lots of bait in the river but no takers. Perhaps too much fresh water in the river keeping them at bay (pun intended). My daughter is headed back to college next week and has really been looking forward to hooking up with another old drum, but it will have to wait till next year. Thanks Dave for working hard to find us one! Just one of those days. But it was one pretty boat ride out there!
