Im heading down to our place in salter path this weekend. My brother has his heart set on catching an albie or bonito at Fort Macon, but I keep telling him its too early. Has anyone seen any around yet?

My neighbor's grandfather lives down on the end of E.I. and he said they have been catching some false albies on the Bogue Inlet Pier.

One of the guys putting in the same marina as I last weekend said he hit a slew of false albacore about a mile off Shackleford. Of course a lot of stuff can change in a weeks time... shoot even in an hours time for that matter.

Sounds good, we'll give it a try. With my luck lately all we'll catch is seeweed. Ive never really gone after them specifically. Are than any good albie tactics/baits that I should check out.
