Just got back from Atlantic Beach. The fishing was slow but enjoyable. Fished the piers and the surf around Fort Macon. Caught a few small pompano in the morning from the piers and a few small blue from the surf. Either the fish are yet to show up or I need fishing lessons. Enjoyed the trip but guess I'll have to eat venison instead of fish this winter. Hope my hunting luck is better than my fishing. Just thought I would share the info.
