Part 1 of our insane inshore fishing charter, with Cast N Blast Venice charter service, this past July down in Venice, Louisiana. We've never caught anywhere close to this many fish at one time...it was crazy!

Between the four of us on the boat, we limited out in about 30 min and probably caught somewhere near 200 in about 4 hours.
The limit in Louisiana is 5 per person, the 20 fish we brought back to the scales weighed in at 62lbs. If you ever get the chance to head down that be sure to set some time aside to do some fishing.

Yeah the gulp on a jig head was much more fun. The guide said that whole dead shrimp was the way to go down there. He said that for every 10 cast with the bobber and shrimp you would catch 9-10 fish and with the jig head and gulp it would be 2-3 fish per 10 cast. I would have loved to have tried out some top water but we were using the guides gear. All in all at the end of the day the he said that had been one of the best trips he had seen in a long time. If you ever get the chance to go, do it!
