How long till somebody says they recognize that tree in picture two and they know where you were fishing? I can tell you already, in the water, that's where. Like it's some big secret:confused:

That is some great looking water. I wish we had a stream like that in Davie County, but everything around here is so silted in that you'll sink up to your butt on the first step.

Always seems strange to me how the bottoms of so many Piedmont rivers are covered in a layer of brown. Is that just from dead algae or what?
Saw some pretty water today. Fishing coulda been a lil hotter on my end but I'll take it. Thanks Gene!

Kev im not really sure why that is. The deep is that color everywhere I fish it as are several other cricks I put in on. Im sure there is someone on here that knows the reason...

Decaying vegetation is my guess. Those leaves end up somewhere.
Nice!! next time I'm going to need less of a zoom on the fish to make sure that it's a different fish. Maybe include some of the background or a huge object that is noticeable ;)

That color comes from brake pad dust from a zillion cars upstream that wash in every rain. I'm not kidding. Or it could be the local chicken farm. Or both. Either way your genes are mutating as you read this....and not in a Marvel Comic book good way either.

Uh OH! I'm not saying who, but someone must have been listening to Obama's 2015 Climate Initiative earlier today. Unless we stop, we are all doomed. I wonder if the gov is going to outlaw herbicides and insecticides?

They better not if they expect to feed folks. Or maybe they have a plan to buy wheat and corn from Iran.

I didn't know you can grow anything in a glass/quartz field? Pretty sure that is what a few of their neighbors want to do.
You sure Mack didn't have anything to do with it?

The plan is to wait for global warming when Alaska is the new Iowa.

That should't be too long. By the time my kids are old they should be able to buy some beach front property in Nevada or Arizona.

...or be enjoying the next "Little Ice Age." At least the data supporting that didn't have to be falsified to hold up.

Gene, I got myself a canoe and I'll be breaking it in this weekend. Maybe we can hit a couple of these "flows" sometime and I can be eduk-ma-cated some more on river fishing. :D
