Got out on falls this morning to do a little fishing. Been trying to get my first lmb of the year and just no luck in this spot I've been fishing. Anyway. Was paddling back and decided to throw a Bettle spin on and try and catch a crappie or 2 well 3rd cast with it hooked what I'm pretty sure are small white bass. Correct me if I'm wrong but ended up with 6 and 1 baby lmb.
Finally got the skunk off my back and atleast got some what of a tight line today. Lol

They are a blast if all holds out id like to get out and try and catch a few Sunday. Hopefully the largemouth start heating up better.

I went to falls from (11am-2pm), but with no success. Went to New Light Road/Ghoston, and went to beaverDam off of devonshire rd. I was fishing off the bank with a roadrunner jig. I've skunked out the past 4 times i went fishing (even Big lake at umstead). I'm going to try minnows the next time I head out. Good catches nick

What are you after??? If crappie I suggest minnows and planning on fishing from 7pm till 11pm. Imusually have a decent run from 7-8 and than after 9. If after bass not sure what to tell ya I speant six hours on falls Monday with one small dink and yesterday fished my normal lake and not one bote

I have caught at least 100 over the 2 trips I took to Falls this week. Must have caught over 60 smaller white bass like the ones you pictured. Also was catching nice crappie, small large mouth, and white perch.

I was gonna ask if from banks. I have managed 30 last outing n ran out of minnows for first time Bite is on hope it is tonight when I go out
