Hit a farm pond in Fuquay today for a couple hours and found the crappie. 14 keepers in the 11-12" range, a couple bass and some perch. Drizzle to light rain most of the time. Water temps were 49-50 degrees and the crappie were holding in 10ft water. They fell for chartreuse 2" plastics and white gulp 1 1/2" grubs on 1/16oz gamakatsu jig heads. 6lb flouro leader.

Definitely blessed to have some water access close by for those quick trips and training my kids on. That being said the fish I catch at the coast and big lakes liked jordan, harris and kerr are more rewarding due to the extra challenge.
