fayetteville or surrounding area for fishing

Hello and welcome to Fayetteville. I'll take this opportunity to tell you about the 2nd meeting of the fayetteville fishing club on Apr. 10th. It's under the club forums.

In and around fayetteville there are many small lakes. Most of them on Ft. Bragg. This will cost you an extra $25 for a license on base. There is a small lake off of Bragg Blvd at Mazerick park near the MLK exit. There is Lake Rim off of Raeford Rd as you get out towards the Super Walmart. There is also a nice little pond off of 301 in godwin called Rhodes Pond.

Let us know which ones you want more info for. BTW let us know if you are shore fishing or have a boat. That'll help us out too.

Hello and thank you for responding to my question. Can anyone attend the meeting or do you have to have a invite. Yes I do have a boat, and in the process of getting it ready to put on some water.

Im going to try and fish horshshoe lake( Suggs mill pond/ Bladen game lands) within the next 2 weeks. Ive heard that there were some decent bluegill there.

I read that the last one was at smokey's bones is that the meeting spot all the time and if so where is it, remember new to fayetteville thanks

Monterey Mexican is where the next one is at. It's in the area where the mall is. I'll get the street address so you can get driving directions from mapquest.

17 footer. That's more the speed of some of the others on here. I have a 12 foot jon boat that I'm constantly doing maintance on. I hit the small ponds and lakes around here.
