Pigeon River in Haywood County

River is clear and fishable

Just crossed the 26 bridge before Brevard road and you can see the bottom

fished the Swannanoa in Blk Mtn this morning and caught Two Trout and a few Redbreast? Trying to decide where to go tomorrow.

You could try the Pigeon River at the Harmon Den exit on I-40.

Fish down stream for a mixed bag of smallies and sunfish.

Lower Swannanoa in town has been killer for smallies the last few weeks.

It was still just a tad too dirty and high yesterday to fish well in town. Another few rainless days and it might be back in prime condition.
