So after two very short outings with my new kayak (very little fishing, more unloading, loading, setup type stuff) , today was my first real get up early and go fish outing........ I decided to launch at Barton's Creek and paddled under Six Forks, pulled up to a point and third cast caught this on a Culprit worm...... It jumped a few times and pulled me around a little (that was really cool). Somewhere around 4.5 lbs. Paddled and fished for about 5 hours and added 3 more smaller fish....... Hit 12pm and that creek area was loaded with ski boats and jet skis so called it a day...........
