Papadave invited me to go to the Eno today and tite line for crappie, being he's so deprived of friends I took him up on his offer, well he was telling me about someone catching about 100 fish in one day with about 20 keepers, so I was expecting to catch a lot, but man what a day, we started about 7:30 and quit at 1:00 and ended up with 64 crappie altogether and 43 were keepers from 10 to 13 inches, we had a blast he's one of the best free guides I've ever used, lol just kiddin Dave.

Dave,
You weren't kidding about the crappie action! Good work guys!

Did I read tightlining? Was that your method of choice? What type of jigs?
-Jeff
Acid rain triple tails & some funky junebug/pink/chartreuse that Tuttle had on 16th oz jigs under 1/2 oz weights.
Titelining appeared to out fish minnows under corks or casting jigs. We were pullin the jigs @ .5 mph 6'-8' down over 8.5' - 14' water.

(Tightlining is always my prefered method :D)

I'm not asking for you secret spot, but what section of the river where you at? I'm planning on going out tomorrow to the eno, but am up in the air where to go
Downstream of Red Mill ramp. Just look for the other boats. We were the second boat in @ 7:30am yesterday, by 8:30 we saw 4 more boats. By 1:00 the lot was full and folks were parked on the road.
