I was fishing at Kerr Lake last week Wednesday through Saturday I caught a lot of nice bass off of secondary and main lake points on a Crig. Then come Thursday when we had a downpour of rain the lake went from 300 to 306 in 36 hours. The lake was at 306 it killed my offshore bite. So I went to flipping bushes a lot of them. I found deep bank pockets with buck brush in them was the key. I did catch some fish about as far as you could get a boat back too but it was kinda inconsistent. If you found buck brush in a deep pocket the fish where located right in the middle of them very hard to get to. I was flipping a 3/8 and creature bait with the tail dipped in Chartreuse. I found that was the ticket.
