Got a floating fishing light for 10 bucks. 12 volt. It says it pulls 4 amp an hour I believe. What is a good bang for the buck battery to get? Don't need it to last for 12 hours or anything but 3 to 4 would be nice.
If you are looking for a few hours you might be able to get away with an ATV battery. You will tear it up pretty fast though. But it would get you started.
Your best bet is a deep cycle battery. You can charge your cell phone on it at the same time ;-)
I posted the question on another forum as well and it was suggested I use an 18 ah 12v sealed battery that was linked on amazon. I can get one for around 35 bucks 2 day shipping. I already have a charger for it so I think I may go that route.
