South of SC on the Island side of the waterway is the entrance to banks channel (marked with a green/red divided marker)- try in there around the Queen's Grant area and then just keep heading south working the docks and marsh beds.

Another option is to head north and enter the unofficial channel about a mile up on the island side that takes you to the canals along the numbered streets.

so what kind of fish are mostly there?Have never fished there. Can you enter the ocean from there?
Flounder, drum and specks back in the sound and waterway. You can enter the ocean through inlets at either end of the Island - New River Inlet on the north, New Topsail Inlet on the south. If you aren't familiar with the area, Id suggest you get a good chart of the area and also ask around at the tackle shops and marinas when you get down here. Those inlet can be tricky at times.
