I received a fly tying kit from my children for fathers day. It is the Orvis Clear water kit. I have baught a whip finisher and the instructions are not very helpfull. I would like some help with begining tying. Does any one know of a website or book that will help me tie fly's better. The book that came with my kit dosent have a good book to help. Although it does show some paterns. Thanks in advance.............. Ed

Check out the Fly Anglers Online site and follow the tutorial on beginning fly tying done by Al Campbell. It is an excellent series with good illustrations and is well written. If you are ever in the Fayetteville area, I would be happy to spend some tying time with you.
