Walleye fishing has been mediocre at best. Get a limit about 1 trip out of 3 or 4. Usually find some but real hard to get them to bite. Bass fishing is pretty hot. I see bass fishermen over next to the bank fishing shallow but I don't know anything about that. I don't fish shallow. Catching a bunch of 1-1.5 lb spots 60-80 and whites 80-90. I've been ranging from Tsali to Forney and down to Panther. You just have to catch them where you find them. Repeat days are rare.

Agree on the repeat days. Have had several trips and every one is different. Some topwater and some jerkbait bite close to points, but other days nothing doing. Seems like the thermocline is breaking up and ranges from 35 to 60 with all kinds of returns just few fish in them. Tough finding a consistent bite. Hopefully will settle down in a few weeks and they will bunch up better.

You are fishing the usual holes Winches. They will show up sooner or later at one of them. Thanks for the report and know you will not give up on 'em.

Time for you to post about fishing walleyes. I sure could use some to eat, but have been busy getting my new house in order here in Mineral Bluff, Ga. Only 56 miles from the lake now and can go back and forth much easier than before.
