Howdi all, new to the forum and this is my first thread.

I will be visiting the Robbinsville area this coming weekend and was curious to see if there are any good spots in the Fontana/Santeetlah lakes area for some bank fishing. Not really targeting any specific species. I've never caught walleye or smallmouth before so that could be fun. Also, are there any particular lures that work best in these areas. I have all sorts of spinnerbaits, topwaters, soft plastics, and crankbaits. Are there any presentation methods that work really well? Thank you in advance for any info.

That was back in the 80's but I think it was nightcrawlers. The only freshwater fish I eat are walleye and trout and I haven't had either one for a long time either. There are some good trout streams in the area and the rivers below the dams if you like moving water.
