Hey Guys

My wife and I are planning a trip to Fort fisher this weekend and are taking along the Yaks to do some fishing. Until this year we have never salt water fished out of a boat, only off the rock wall at the fort. Usually with some shrimp and we always have fun but hardly ever catch anything to bring home to eat.

Ive been reading about the Berkley gulp c-rigged or with a jig head bouncing off the bottom is that the easiest?

Any tips or tricks anyone can share?
thanks guys
Mickey

Launch at the federal point landing boat ramp. Paddle across that large basin. Follow the grass line around to the cribbins area (fast water coming over rocks) 1/4oz jig head with pearl gulp shrimp. Throw into water flow and letit fall with the current. Great spot for trout and flounder.
