Anyone got any advice for fishing Fort Macon tommorow from the surf.

if you walk the jetty wear good shoes and be careful! should be flounder and reds around the rocks with moving tide and even some sheepshead possibly still around. if you're just fishing the surf around the jetty standard rules apply

My experience is the place is better at higher tide. The way the sandbar is shaped to the right of the jetty it kinda blocks the slough off at lower tides... JMO. I have seen quite a few black drum caught from the jetty. Shrimp or sand fleas right by the rocks. But be careful as that place will hurt you bad if you let it. Have also observed Spanish caught by a guy casting straight out from the end of the jetty.

Got in an early bluefish bite that died quick as it started and then ended at 12 pm with about 6 blues 1 keeper flounder and some kind of silvery fish the looked like a gar.
And Blues bite.
And Blues bite.

Compare the tide chart to your fishing success. Looks like you hit it on the outgoing which is my favorite time to be there.
Did you see any Spanish chasing bait during that time period?
