I have been watching craigslist for a good while for a Loon 138t to pop up. One finally did, and it turns out the seller teaches at the same school my wife does, small world. I've had a bunch of boats and a Loon 138 single was the best fit for me. Never should have let it go. The only thing I wanted to change on that boat was I wished the large cockpit was even bigger. I plan to pull one of the seats out of this tandem and rig it with a crate behind the seat and fab a small deck out of cutting board that will wedge into the front of the cockpit to mount a scotty mount and maybe a scotty cup holder. Anchor trolley and I should be good to go.

The thing that impressed me most about the 138 single was that I had no problem at all keeping pace with the long, skinny expensive sea kayaks. Got a couple of strange looks from sea kayakers that thought they were going to leave me in their wake :D
