Short window to fish today so made a quick run to Bond Lake..... Caught this fatty on a junebug brush hog..... I found a little deep hole last time I was there and no luck. Went back to that hole today and that's where she was ambushing ......... A few more weeks I'm in my kayak and no more renting boats.........

Yes in winter and spring but in a few weeks it's almost impossible to get to the good spots. The dam is always fish able however that's mostly for catfish

Maybe I'll get over there this weekend and give it a try. Any place in particular that's worth trying on the bank?

anywhere ya can get to. After a rain that place is a flooded mess and very hard to get around in the mud. Walk around till ya see an opening ya think ya can get to.
