For those of you living "out west" just a reminder to drop your outboards down if they are outside. Leaving the motor tilted up allows water to stand in the housing and it can freeze and crack your lower unit !! You may have gotten away with it 1000 times but trust me it can happen!!! You also want to make sure your not holding water in any drains, bait wells etc. Bring any electronics inside as well. No need to expose them to extreme cold, then the daytime heat, as this cycle will eventually cause the moisture in the air to seep into the housings and wiring plugs and if nothing else fog/corrode them up. Just a heads up!!:eek:
